Services
The following services are provided by the Safe Child Visit Monitor. Call for Fees for Individual Services.
a. Intake Interview
We conduct comprehensive intake and screening interviews to understand the nature and degree of risk for each case. The procedures for intake include separate interviews with both the custodial and non-custodial parents before the first visit. During the interview, the provider will obtain identifying information and complete a signed agreement with both parties.
b. Off-Site Supervised Visitation
An off-site supervised visitation is contact between a non-custodial party and one or more children in the presence of a neutral third person at a location acceptable to the court order and both parents. Some examples of visitation locations are parks, shopping malls or libraries.
*Minimum 2 Hour Visitation Required
c. On-Site Supervised Visitation
d. Virtual/Phone Monitor Visitations
Instead of a face-to-face visitation, if allowed by the court order, the visitation can take place virtually or over the phone between the non-custodial parent and their child(ren). The Professional Monitor will be present the entire time whether it is virtually or on the phone to ensure the safety of the child and to make sure all of the rules and regulations are followed.
e. Safe Exchange
This service is provided to ensure that the child can have safe contact with the NCP. One parent will be transferring the child to the other parent. The monitor will be present to ensure that the NCP and NP or other individuals exchanging the child DO NOT come in contact with one another.
f. Reports
Professional monitors must keep a record for each case, including the following: A written record of each contact and visit; who attended the visit; any failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the visitation; and any incidence of abuse as required by law. Detailed or summary reports are available upon request from a parent, attorney, or the Courts.
